I met with Adi through another amazing photographer, Doug Van Sant, right before EDMbiz and EDC. I knew I was going to interview Doug sometime that week, but the naturally curious me came out over brunch and I blurted out all the questions that came to mind. Having Adi tell me his story of why he left his successful gig in music photography back in Israel to come to the U.S. made me realize that I absolutely wanted to share it with the rest of you guys. Having stumbled into the scene 12 years ago back home, he is the perfect example of not settling for second best and continuously creating challenge to achieve greater things. We talk about how he began working with the Insomniac team, and his wife that helped contribute to him living out his dream. Adi tells us about the many elements that goes into a perfect photo, and tons of great advice for beginners looking to break through. Never having taken a single photography class, Adi believes in being self-taught, as well as seeking advice after experimenting with your own technique and style.
