To find out more Dr Sam Willis speaks with Anthony Richards from London's Imperial War Museum. Anthony is an expert on eyewitness testimony and on the sinking of the Lusitania. They discuss the exciting purchase at auction by the Imperial War Museum of numerous accounts of the disaster, and what they can tell us about this defining moment in the First World War, and in the history of all disasters at sea.
