Carvin Haggins, a Grammy award winning, multi-platinum selling songwriter and producer, has not only worked with your favorite artists favorite artist, but he’s helped them reach success with chart-topping hits that are sure to be classics for decades. A Philly native, Carvin first burst onto the music scene as an MC, but later spread his wings into unchartered territory with his friend and business partner, Ivan Barias. The duo, affectionately known as Carvin & Ivan, worked under their own company, Karma Productions, producing hits for Ledisi, Lalah Hathaway, Jazmine Sullivan, Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, Justin Timberlake, Mario, Chris Brown, Raheem DeVaughn, Keyshia Cole, Jaheim, Estelle, Floetry, Skillz, Faith Evans, Rick Ross and many others. Known for penning music with real life experiences that resonate with everyday people, Carvin continued to master the sound that he and Ivan had become known for – fusing hip hop with modern soul. Currently, Haggins is also leading the charge to bring “respect” back to radio, starting with his Ethical Music Entertainment label and his new artist BriaMarie, whose songs “Bye Boy,” “IDK,” and “Celebrate,” have been featured on MTV, VH1 and BET. Along with this, Carvin can now add “author” to his resume. In 2017, he released a book of quotes titled “#CGHThoughts”, which can be found on Amazon. Haggins’ mission at this level of his musical career is to make music that is positive with unadulterated lyrics that have a powerful message.
