Shelli Renée Joye, Ph.D., attended Rice University on a physics scholarship and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduation, she worked with Dr. John Lilly on interspecies communication and pursued contemplative practice with Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche.

She completed her doctorate in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness at the California Institute of Integral Studies. The author of several books, including Tuning the Mind and her latest book, Tantric Psychophysics, A Structural Map of Altered States and the Dynamics of Consciousness.

Tantric Psychophysics has been called a bold synthesis of ancient sacred science, modern physics, and neuroscience designed to open access to higher consciousness.

Exploring Tantric teachings from India and Tibet, Shelli Renée Joye, Ph.D., presents a wide-ranging collection of practical techniques to induce altered states of consciousness for the exploration of heightened mystical states. She also shows how these theories and techniques are fully supported by modern biophysics, brain science, and quantum physics.

Dr Joye and Sam will be discussing all about Tantra, the Dynamics of Consciousness, and how exploring altered states of consciousness can serve us in the world today.
