Special Guest: Luc Special World Missions Episode My wife and I have done many different things as far as ministry goes, from 50 day night watch, working on a documentary on sex trafficking in America, Staffing DTSes, being house parents over 30 twenty-somethings, fore-ran houses of pray etc etc and I think we have become pretty unimpressed with ourselves. Our true hearts for heading into the nations is just to know the heart of Jesus more and to grow in deeper friendship with Him. Sure we have a call, and have been commissioned, and have prophetic words, and want to see people saved, and of course see Jesus glorified—but us going isn’t out of a zeal for the desert—if I were to real with you. We are going out of simple obedience and a longing to know the heart of Jesus and to grow in greater friendship with God. As cheese ball and cliché as that might sound it is true. We really believe that the little bit of incense from our friendship with Jesus can really save peoples, families, towns, cities, and nations. Isaiah 64:4 says “From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides you, who acts for those who wait for him.” We believe that our waiting and our weakness (not to be confused with passivity and apathy) really does move the heart of God causes Him to act on our behalf. That is who we are. That is our heart. We are so unimpressed with ourselves, and we have decided to choose voluntary weakness and striving to rest in His love and friendship-rather than build a “really cool” ministry.
