Hey everybody! You all might have thought I just abandoned everyone! I did NOT! I am back, and I really want to talk to us today! I want to talk about rest, I mean rest for the mind. I mean peace for the mind. I want to help us get refocused. Help us move out of the torment many of us live in—mental torment that is—and get us into the place God wants us to be. It’s not hard to see how in this day and time men and women could find themselves wracked with mental torment. We know there are many spirits which fill our land and certainly not every spirit we face is of God. And scripture tells us that Satan has come down unto us, having great wrath because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. We know all of this. Jesus prayed for Peter that his faith fail not seeing that Satan desired to have him that he might sift him as wheat. So that tells us if we want to be concerned with thing Jesus sees fit to pray for, then we must be concerned about our faith, and more specifically our faith in the context of this world and the adversary which would like to destroy us in it—taking our faith and thus our hope.
