Sitting Around Talking Movies

Not only are the holidays here, so are the much talked about movies. And we've seen a lot of them. We start with "Babylon" which has some big stars and traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood. We definitely reacted to this one. Then we've got "Living" which stars Bill Nighy as a humorless civil servant in 1950s London who decides to take time off work to experience life after receiving a grim diagnosis. On the lighter side, we've got the animated "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish." There's also "White Noise" from filmmaker Noah Baumbach, based on a book by Don DeLillo. And for you costume epic fans there's "Corsage" which is a fictional account of one year in the life of Empress Elisabeth of Austria. And for you Broadway fans we have the new stage version of "Some Like It Hot." plus some other things as well. So listen in!
