Have you ever wrestled with doubts about God's justice and mercy? When tragedy strikes, we cry out, "God, where are you?" When justice seems absent, we wonder, "Why don't you do something?" There are times when God seems unpredictable—harsh in one instance, silent in another. As we explore the ancient stories in Genesis, we see these very human questions of God's mercy and justice are not new. Woven throughout these stories, we catch glimpses of a God who sees, who cares, who calls humanity back to Himself!
