A mutation that results in dwarfism also prevents cancer and diabetes, evidence for evolution by means of natural selection. However, though it can be construed as and example of "survival of the fittest," it doesn't solve evolution's need for novel genetic information producing new abilities.

The Hebrew name, Shaddai , is used more to identify God in the book of Job than the rest of the Old Testament combined. Shaddai has the meaning, "Almighty," and is therefore, and not surprisingly, associated with the Lord's power displayed in creation.
