Michelle Yeoh is finally back with a new project titled Everything Everywhere All at Once. The film has a limited release in the United States on March 25, 2022 yesterday. This project became his comeback after playing in the film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021). This new film is produced by the production house A24 with directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert.

Synopsis Everything Everywhere All at Once

Evelyn Wang (Michelle Yeoh) is a Chinese-American woman. She has a husband named Waymond (Ke Huay Quan) and a daughter named Joy (Stephanie Hsu). Evelyn, who runs the Laundromat business, is facing a complicated problem because her business will be audited by the IRS or tax officials.

Things got even more chaotic because the day the audit team from the IRS came to coincide with the Chinese New Year celebrations. Besides that, Waymond actually gave Evelyn a divorce certificate, even worse, the princess seemed to add to the problem for her by asking for the blessing of her love affair with her girlfriend.

In front of the tax officer who will audit the tax payments on her business, Evelyn is silent like an idiot. That's when the figure of Alpha Waymond who controlled her husband's body appeared. Alpha Waymond comes from her husband's parallel world.

Alpha Waymond explains the existence of a parallel world and what is going on there because of Evelyn. In the parallel world of Evelyn there is an evil figure who wants to destroy Evelyn's universe. This evil act affects other universes, so Evelyn must act quickly and fight it.
