I have a private practice in mental health counseling in Meredith NH which I have been doing since 1986 and specialize in play therapy. In addition to that, I am a certified advanced trainer for the Nurtured Heart Approach® and I hold trainings for this. I am an instructor for Granite State College in their Child Welfare Education Program. I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and a post graduate of the University of New Hampshire. I also am the creator and author of Core Attachment Therapy©, a process to help secure the attachment bonds between the adopted child and his/her new parents. In addition to being a therapist, instructor and author, I am also an international speaker on the subject of developmental trauma, attachment development, Core Attachment Therapy© and The Nurtured Heart Approach®. I have recently been awarded the 2023 Nationwide Registries Women of Distinction Honors Edition. In my free time, I enjoy lots of outdoor activities. But most importantly, I am the proud adoptive mother of a now wonderful 33 year old woman whom I adopted when she was 6 years old from Russia.
