Labor Day travelers close out summer season with uptick in road trips

• The unofficial end of summer is here. Millions of Americans are expected to hit the road today, with many people returning home from the Jersey Shore.
• Police are investigating three separate stabbings on Sunday, including one in which a park ranger was stabbed in the head and near his eye during a scuffle in Center City.
• Opera Philadelphia hopes that reduced prices for the 2024-25 season will be just the ticket for those who couldn't afford to attend.
