• Aramark's food and beverage workers at Citizens Bank Park have voted to strike, 83 percent in favor. Leaders of United Here Local 274 say members want "family-sustaining wages and healthcare."

• Philadelphia spent another record amount on overtime, in the fiscal year that ended in July, but for the first time in years, it stayed below what it budgeted.
• The FTC says people lost nearly $3-billion dollars from impersonation scams last year — they are now warning the public about calls from people claiming to be from companies like Amazon or Microsoft, or even from the government.
• Picnics, cookouts and celebrations of all kinds are taking place throughout Philadelphia this weekend, as people observe Labor Day.
