Jesus is the King of all who surrender to His authority. Jesus’ kinship is focussed on love, justice, serving others and giving His life to save ours. Christmas brings us grounded optimism: optimism in the midst of despairing circumstances. The God that we love and serve is a God of love and justice and peace. Grounded optimism rooted in God has the power to comfort us during hard times.
