THE POTENTIAL OF HARVEST TIME

Luke 10:1-8; Matthew 9:35-38

THE HARVEST IS PRECIOUS.

“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them” (Matt. 9:36a),

THE HARVEST IS PERPLEXED.

“because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd” (Matt. 9:36b).

THE HARVEST IS PLENTIFUL.

“He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field” (Luke 10:2).

“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few”

(Matthew 9:37).

THE HARVEST IS PERISHING.

“I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town” (Luke 10:12); “Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest” (John 4:35).

THE HARVEST IS PRIORITY.

“Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

“Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves” (Luke 10:2b & 3).

“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field” (Matthew 9:37-38).
