The terminology “being born again” is part of evangelical lingo and has been for a long, long time.

But in spite of the fact that it’s familiar terminology and it’s thrown around a lot and has been certainly all through my lifetime, there seems to be a failure on the part of most Christian people to understand what new birth means.

It seems that most of us are like Nicodemus

We believe that building is the church and going to the building makes us Christians but there is nothing Christ like about us

We think the right hand of fellowship in a congregation makes is Christians

We think because we were baptized in water by a blind guide makes is Christians

The truth of the matter is real pastors are given by God according to the word of God in Jeremiah 3:15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
