What a great song by Rich Mullins: “Sometimes By Step.” In its simplicity, it captures the rhythm of walking with God and learning from Him. The day in and day out. The mundane as well as the mountaintop. “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me. I am gentle and humble in spirit.” This is one of the rhythms the Daily Office teaches me. The year by year, week by week. Being formed in the image of Jesus. Step by step…may He lead us!
