Mike and Kristen's first live podcast recording at Alderney Landing Theatre followed a magnificent performance by award-winning musician Christina Martin, who premiered her ECMA-nominated album Storm with a full band and a stunning string quartet. The atmosphere was electric, with roses falling from the ceiling and a breathtaking moment of gang vocals that featured a cast of local characters including former podcast guests: James Mullinger, Katie Kelly, Nancy Regan, Krista Keough and Steph Purcell. Mike and Kristen not only emceed the show but also seamlessly transitioned into their live podcast, capturing the raw post-performance energy. Christina, still basking in the afterglow of the performance, fielded questions from an engaged audience, offering rare and intimate insights into the immediate experience of a musician post-show.
