The Men of Iron BODcast is back for Week 4 with Justin and Roman. This week we close out the Fitness Series by providing you some practical fitness tips to help get you started. Our anchor verse this month has been 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "You are not your own; for you were bought at price. So honor God with your body." God wants YOU to honor Him with the way you treat your body. Taking your fitness seriously honors God. If you have neglected your fitness for some time it's not going to be easy. There is not a quick fix to hard work. Find something that you enjoy and start pursuing that. Be intentional with a plan and share that plan with a friend. You are 76% more likely to achieve your goal if you write down AND share it with a friend to hold you accountable. Here are 5 practical fitness tips to put into action today! 5 Practical Fitness Tips: #1 – Start small #2 – Start with something you enjoy (hiking, basketball, biking, etc.) #3 – Schedule it out, put it on your calendar #4 – Invite a friend into your fitness journey #5 – Write your plan out on paper and share it with a friend Fitness matters because of the Gospel, you were bought at a price, so honor God with your body.
