Dr. Toni Cooper booked a marketing review with me to improve the visibility of her podcast and books, she is booked with clients, so the focus for her was on the books and the podcast.

We sat down and talked about her business; she’s a psychologist, author, speaker and podcast host. Toni is looking for more people to buy her books, sign up for her free ebook and listen to her podcast, so we started with her foundations and looked at what she was doing for marketing for both her podcast and books.

The advice I gave her focused on 5 main areas.

1. Position Yourself with More Authority
2. Use Clear and Direct Calls to Action in your Marketing
3. Take Advantage of Social Media to Promote your Services
4. Avoid Marketing Tools that Take Traffic Away from Your Website
5. Track your Numbers and Analytics to Know what’s Working

Much of what we talked about is advice that would work for any practice or business owner. The principles are similar even when the services may be a little different.
