Simultaneously, We also are living in a very troubling time in the world. The atmosphere of our day has dramatically changed. The fast-paced world conditions have escalated from confusion to chaos,...this can be seen by events across the globe. Many are desperately dealing with the emerging variants of the coronavirus, bringing back economic opportunities, and addressing our deep-seated social issues and racial tensions...All are valid, but they remain exterior to the soul peace that can only be received from our Maker. Maybe the answer is not found in the common exterior solutions offered, but in a timeless interior discipline that the Ancients valued called rest....Bottom line our Shelter is not a place, but a Person!
