Dr. Ornish is the president and founder of the nonprofit Preventative Medicine Research Institute, and a professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He is also the creator of the Ornish Spectrum, which has shown that specific changes in lifestyle may actually reverse many chronic diseases.
