Hello and welcome to the next episode of the Inside Devon podcast, My name is Damien Clyburn and today we are joined by Emma Parkin of the Boatyard Bakery and Café (Emma’s Bread).
Emma is extremely passionate about food and took up her career in baking to make bread in ethical and ecologically responsible way.
She originally started baking at other people’s premises, but now has her own premises including a bakery and café on the historic Exeter Quay.

We have split the show in to two parts, and during episode 1 we talk about Emma’s career journey, her love of the countryside and nature, and her extensive travels before returning to Exeter.
