1. Women Find the Tomb Empty (vs. 1-3)
   
   1. Brought spices to anoint Jesus’ body.
      
   2. Find the stone rolled away.
      
   3. Jesus’ body is missing.
      
2. Angels Proclamation (vs. 4-8)
   
   1. The women are frightened by the angels appearance.
      
      1. Fall on their face in reverence.
         
   2. Proclaim that Jesus is risen.
      
   3. Angels remind them of Jesus’ own prediction.
      
      1. The women remember His words.
         
3. The Women Proclaim the Good News to the Eleven (vs. 9-11)
   
   1. The apostles do not believe them.
      
4. Peter Has to See for Himself (vs. 12)
   
   1. Peter finds the tomb empty and goes home marveling at what happened.
