OPEN OUR EYES Today Jesse's son David is called from his flock to serve the Lord and shepherd his people. Today Jesus opens the eyes of a man to the wonders of belief in God's son. God also calls us from our ordinary work and opens our eyes through baptism to insight into his mighty works. He calls on us to believe, to worship and then to follow the Lord Jesus, his son.
