Paul is writing here a second time to the same church. He is very adamant about following the instructions of the gospel of Jesus Christ. There were many of them that were falling away from the truth. He said to the church then as it applies to the church now, that we that know we have been commissioned by God to help people come out of darkness into the marvelous light of God we must not be deterred. Walking in obedience to the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ is what is going to make us free; and provide us with the power to be resurrected on that great day to meet the Lord in the air.
