In Matthew 7:21-27, Jesus speaks of two men who built their houses on different foundations. One built his house on the rock, and the other built his house on the sand. Scripture teaches that true disciples are those who have built their lives on the rock-solid foundation of Christ, while those who trust in the sand as a foundation claim they did good works without being a true disciple will be turned away by Jesus.
