When we’re saved the Holy Spirit goes to work on the inside of us, making us look and live like how Jesus did. We’re called to bear fruit that resembles the life of Christ in all things. There is a natural inclination to fight against this, the flesh, which we’re constantly waring against. The flesh is always pulling us one direction, but the Spirit is also pulling us another direction; towards obedience to the things of God. As we wrap up this crucial last brick in the foundation, we discover how we are indeed made in His image and likeness and there’s something truly magnetic about Him that’s drawing us to live like Him in every way as we yield to the indwelling work of the Spirit.
