To show reverence is to regard someone or something with deep respect. Unfortunately, we tend to have very little reverence for God today. As author Pete Greig says, “We fail to grasp the mind blowing privilege of simply being in the presence of the living God.” Reverence is proper and necessary to a dynamic prayer life.
