Episodes 17 and 18, recorded on June 16th 2021, feature Johannes and Sharon Merz, both of whom are anthropologists with SIL. For the past several years they have been leading a training track at EMDC called Culturally Intelligent Media. The Merzs are both lecturers at Moorlands College in the U.K. and work in Benin, West Africa. During this discussion they will be sharing a bit on the topics they cover in their course that help cross cultural workers understand how to best produce localized media that is understood well by the intended audiences.
