The people of God are redeemed in order to submit to God alone; for ultimate ruling of their lives: to be the ultimate source of their purpose, value, identity, joy and to worship him as their Highest treasure. If this is true, than consequently we are not permitted to engage in worship of other gods. Or what the bible calls idolatry. In this sermon, we discuss the second commandment, what idolatry is, how we discern what are idols in our lives and how we attack and dismantle them.
