It’s Vision Sunday. We are imagining the future, believing for the impossible, hearing the dream, looking out towards where we are headed.Where we are headed is: Igniting a multiplying Great Commission Movement to change the world.

Vision is what could be or should be in light of what currently is.

We know people who have vision, an entrepreneur, an artist, a sculptor…a painter doesn’t see a blank canvas, they see a masterpiece, a sculptor doesn’t see a block of marble, they see a statue, a designer doesn’t just see a room, behind walls of sheetrock they see an open concept with worlds of possibility.

Visionaries see what could be, what should be in light of what currently is.

Matthew 28:16-20

16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
