The Dudes meet with Stephanie Elad, a Corporate HR professional from California who moved to Texas a decade ago. Her family chose Frisco as their home and after a few years in the Frisco Independent School District, Stephanie began to notice looser standards in the schools. After attending a school board meeting and feeling frustrated with the School Board President's disrespectful behavior towards the parents, Stephanie opted to use her speaking time to call him out. Her polite rant went viral and it ultimately led to her running for and winning a spot as School Board Trustee during the 2022 municipal election. Stephanie brings a diverse perspective to Frisco ISD and has unfortunately dealt with several personal attacks and attempts at canceling her voice since she's been a Trustee. Her story is one everyone should hear as we all seek to be more understanding of one another in search of what's best for our kids and schools.
