Stretching or not to stretch before or after your workout is a big mistake if you’re not doing it before stretching and warming up before you workout is probably the best thing you could ever do for your body helping to increase flexibility and movement and warm in your body up before you exercise is an absolute must if you sit in an office chair for more than one hour you will stand up your legs your calves and your back and neck may feel tight so if you Going straight into exercise without warming up or stretching you’re setting yourself up for an injury if you look at every animal in nature they all move warmup and stretch before they do their activities as we are human beings we get lazy we do not Warm up our bodies before we exercise there is things been said in the industry that you should warm up because primal man wouldn’t warm up before he killed the animal or had to run away but we are now in the 21st-century with a more and lazier than ever before And nobody knows what caveman was doing 2000 years ago because none of us are that old set an argument is completely wrong where people are saying they shouldn’t stretch before they work out I’ve been working out for over 30 years and I found it to be hugely beneficial to warmup stretch only the muscles that need it I don’t to stretch a muscle just for the sake of it and with my clients I do an orthopaedic assessment to make sure we’re stretching the right muscles especially if they have pain in the in the book stretching by Bob Anderson and The Book motor Lane and performance they all agree that stretching his 100% important but what you have to remember some people may need to stretch the quad muscle and some people may not believe they’ve had no assessment they’ve got no way of knowing it’s a really important for you to get an assessment done for your exercise program or for you to get into the habit of doing certain stretches at work at home in the evening in the morning or after any strenuous work and you will find that you will feel more relaxed Get less injured and your every day performance will be higher --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/scott-bryant6/message
