Jesus taught the disciples about His upcoming suffering and equipped them to carry on His legacy when He had to leave this earth. All of us are His disciples, alive today, and we must intentionally carry on the legacy and pursue an intimate relationship with Him. We must carry an eternity mindset as we walk this Christian walk.
