This podcast is the first in our new series, Campus Conversations. In this series, you'll hear from professors and grad students on campus about cutting edge research, captivating creative work, and new ideas. In this episode, Julia Marshall and Bara Badwan talk with Jeremy O. Harris, a second-year playwright at the Yale School of Drama. His emotional and provocative new work, Slave Play, opens at Yale's Iseman Theater, on Thursday, October 26. In this work, the old South lives on at the MacGregor Plantation — in the breeze, in the cotton fields...and in the crack of the whip. It’s an antebellum fever-dream, where fear and desire entwine in the looming shadow of the Master’s House. You can find out more at http://ysd-tickets.yale.edu/single/EventDetail.aspx?p=18054 Voices on this episode: Jeremy O.
