DISCUSSION QUESTIONS FOR SHEPHERD GROUPS

1. What stood out to you in this message?
2. Discuss how easy it is to confuse works as an outgrowth of faith and works as an effort to be justified? Why do you think it is that even believers in Jesus can fall prey to the tendency to “just be a good person”?
3. Can you give an example of a situation in which God was working behind the scenes and orchestrating events for someone to come to faith in Christ?
4. In what way is God stretching you spiritually at this time? What do you believe He is trying to teach you?
5. Brainstorm and discuss the basic elements of the Gospel. What are the steps you would take to lead someone to a personal relationship with Jesus?
6. Discuss the personal roadblocks you face in being more bold with the message of Christ.
