Mindful eating is about being present and fully engaged in the experience of eating.

It involves using all your senses to appreciate the food you're consuming and to be aware of the physical and emotional sensations that arise while eating. This includes paying attention to food's taste, texture, and smell and feeling hunger, fullness, and satisfaction.

Mindful eating also involves awareness of the thoughts and emotions that arise. This includes recognizing your eating reasons, such as hunger or emotional triggers, and being mindful of negative self-talk or judgments about your food.

By practicing mindful eating, you can learn to approach food more balanced and healthy and make more conscious choices about what and how much you eat. When it comes to weight reduction, mindful eating can be a valuable tool to help you lose weight healthily and sustainably.
