We’re ending Jeanuary with what might be one of JCVD’s most memorable performances in 2008’s JCVD. Directed by Mabrouk El Mechri, Van Damme plays himself as he struggles with life as a fading international action star drowning in legal debt, who not only happens to find himself in the middle of an armed robbery, but in the sights of the police who believe him to be the mastermind behind it all.
