Where We Buy: Retail Real Estate with James Cook

Eli Gindi, co-founder of Gindi Capital, explains the opportunity he sees along Las Vegas Boulevard. For him, it's like investing in New York's Times Square before its transformation in the 1990s.

Gindi Capital made its first Las Vegas investment in 2015 with the purchase of a portion of the Showcase Mall on Las Vegas Boulevard. Since then, the company has expanded its holdings along the Strip. Its BLVD project is now under construction, encompassing 400,000 square feet of retail space, including a 110,000 square-foot rooftop dining and experiential area.
