Casey Frazier is a local singer/songwriter/producer who has his roots in Colorado and Tennessee and those roots are very evident in his music. During the podcast, Casey shares a few of his songs with us and it's really a treat! Written about Casy: Often being described as a modern renaissance man, Americana/singer-songwriter, Casey Frazier, does it all. He’s a visual artist, an avid outdoorsman, and most importantly a father. Born in Kansas City and growing up with the Rocky Mountains as his backdrop in Colorado, Casey has a deep relationship with nature. He moved to Nashville at age 14, growing up around the music scene eventually leading him to writing on Music Row. From Appalachia to the coastlines of the West, the expansiveness of the country has rooted itself in Casey’s music. From a young age, Casey has taken the stage entertaining audiences around the country with roots in Denver, Nashville, and Central California. With his unique ability to create intimate moments with his music, Casey has had the opportunity to share the stage with several musical icons, including Kenny Rogers and Joan Armatrading. Having traveled extensively in the US and abroad, Casey’s music and art are influenced by his surroundings. The raw lifestyle of herding cattle to the emotional pull of the Pacific Ocean speaks through Casey's music. Casey Frazier could sing before he could write his own name. He hit his first snare drum at the age of three and picked up the guitar at the age of five. It became apparent very early on that the tunesmith was destined for a life of song. The artful skill of combining well-written lyrics with tried and true musical composition has given Casey opportunities to perform with the likes of Kenny Rogers and Mandy Moore. In 2009, his music was featured in the major motion picture, “Teenage Dirtbag”, launching thousands of YouTube hits, covers of “Elysian Fields”, and gaining him comparisons to Ryan Adams and Josh Rouse. In March of 2013, Casey released Regal his most honest effort yet. The album can best be described as modern Americana with roots in ‘70s country and alternative rock.
