What's In Your Bag? With Andrew Robinson

The Miami Heat just pulled off perhaps one of the most improbable runs in NBA history. Going from being four minutes away from elimination in the play-in tournament, to securing the 8-seed and reaching the NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets. We caught up with the man who documented it all, behind the camera lens for the world to witness.

Trey Mena has had quite the journey, from a scholarship college basketball player as a freshman, to documenting a National Championship run at Baylor University, to vacationing with Carmelo Anthony and capturing content, to now working as an NBA photographer and videographer.

He sat down with us to walk us through his journey making his transition from playing the game, to documenting the game, to getting fired, and how that turned out to be one of the best things that could have ever happened to him.

Trey explains how his faith has allowed him to stay grounded on his journey, and give gratitude for everything he's received thus far, and what it means to always stay focused on what matters most.

He gives us his opinion on the freelance vs. corporate route as a photographer, and the pros & cons of both! Also, for any aspiring photographers, there plenty of gems on how mentorship might be the key to taking that next step in your journey, so i highly recommend getting your notepad out!

We cap it off with some classic Jimmy Butler stories, some fashion talk, and of course we had to ask about the Dame Lillard situation!
