What Up With Rob and Chris~ Dr. Oelberger- is a licensed Psychologist based in Los Angeles. He received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology through the Saybrook Graduate School in San Francisco, with an emphasis in Spirituality and Consciousness. He holds ACT board certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a Certification in Sports psychology- having trained with a Navy Seal in order to target emotional obstacles to performance amongst athletes. Dr.Oelberger has attained the rank level of Shodan, in Shaolin kempo martial arts and was awarded this rank in the Shaolin temple in Deng Feng, China in the summer of 2013. Richard has a book published on the integration of spirituality and psychology entitled, “Qualitative Kabbalah: The Value of Living a Spiritual System”. His Master’s thesis focused on Treatment and understanding of Post -Traumatic Stress disorder, specifically cultural and historical trends and implications for treatment. Richard Oelberger, PhD offers his own unique style of psychology differentiating him amongst traditional forms of psychology, integrating a model of psychology combining Somatic and body oriented psychotherapy with mindfulness and spiritual approaches. He hosts a bi weekly Podcast on his Richardlistens channel on Apple Podcasts on topics surrounding channeling your own inner hero, covering the field of Performance, Human transformation, and Sports Psychology related interests. What Up With Rob and Chris: Little Rock, Arkansas native, Pamela Hopkins, is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. She is a Dueling Piano Player by trade and also leads her own band. Pamela started her music career back in the 90's and took time away from the music scene to pursue other careers and to raise her children. She started part time as a dueling piano player in 2013, and eventually went full-time in the summer of 2014. Around 2018, she decided to find her own sound and began to write and record her own music in Arkansas. Pamela released an EP in 2018 and her first CD in 2019. Pamela decided to search for a new studio close to her flavor of music in the spring of 2020. She became one of Off the Row Recording Studio's "Break Out Artists" and recorded 4 singles that were released throughout 2020. She had decided to continue writing and recorded 7 more songs. Four of those songs were release in 2021 and the other three are scheduled to release in 2022. Pamela continues to co-write with several Nashville writers, including number 1 hit writer, Billy Lee (The One by Gary Allen), Scott Barrier (former band member for Gretchen Wilson) and Dave Lenahan (former radio personality and current podcast personality). In 2021, Pamela released 4 new songs throughout the year. She co-wrote each song with various Nashville writers and was excited to release her first co-written duet featuring Matt Dame (singer for The SteelDrivers), on February 5, 2021 titled "Little Things." (Currently the 2021 "Country Song of the Year" for a Duo/Group with the Josie Music Awards--the largest independent music awards show). She ended 2021 with a duet she co-wrote with Dave Lenahan and Melissa Leigh. Pamela found the perfect male voice to accompany her in her latest single, "One More Last Kiss," by enlisting Jason Lee Campbell to collaborate with her on the recording... you can now hear that song on her newly released album or by streaming the single on all major streaming outlets. Her song, "Givin' a Damn (Don't Go With My Outfit)," is also the title of her new 8-song album which became available for sale on December 21, 2021. In 2006, he started his weekly essay series, The Casual Casuist, which continues to be featured in various newspapers across the country, casually. In 2011, he earned an MFA from Mills College in Creative Fiction with his first novel, Dysfunction. Two years later he published his second novel, Baby Doll: The Book, followed by Too True to be Good in 2017, and The Apology in 2021, and his fifth novel, Ardor, will hit bookshelves in 2022. In 2020, Mike began an episodic TV show, Books Out Loud and a year later began his podcast, Coffin Talk, a weekly show that explores “The Meaning of Death.” Mike also hosts bonus podcasts, Casual Conversations, available for premium subscribers. What Up With Rob and Chris Amy Scruggs Raised in San Dimas, California, Amy has been in front of the camera her entire life, either singing, performing or speaking. She is a classically trained pianist and vocalist who has been playing the piano since the age of 4. She has over 15 years of professional singing experience with large audiences where she opened for many country music greats including; Trace Adkins, Clint Black, Charlie Daniels, Little Texas, Hal Ketchum, Phil Vassar, Josh Gracin and others. Amy was featured in the July 2009 issue of Country Weekly Magazine as well as the September 2009 cover story for Nashville Music Guide. She recorded her first album, Right Here Right Now, in 2007.
