Video footage of police kicking and beating up one of the women was shared on social media. Sonia spoke with a trans-rights activist, Thilaga, from the group Justice for Sisters, to understand what happened. Artist-made portraits of murdered Palestinian journalists plastered to the ABC offices to shed light on the media silence of their fallen colleagues in Gaza. 40 portraits of killed journalists were stuck to the entrance at about 4:30am this morning in Naarm/Melbourne.
