As part of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women commemoration, we listen to one woman’s account of the experience of indigenous Herero and Nama Peoples in present-day Namibia. Sima Luipert, a Nama woman from Namibia, tells us how the violence inflicted on her Peoples in the early 1900s, still has an impact to this day.
