Good morning, Washingtonians! It's time for your local weather forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Let's dive right into it - overnight, expect cloudy skies with a low around 50 degrees. You might feel a light east wind of about 5 miles per hour keeping things cool.
As we roll into Friday, the clouds will stick around, but you can look forward to a high near 64 degrees. The east wind will pick up slightly to about 7 miles per hour, so hold onto your hats!
Friday night brings scattered showers, mainly before 3 am. The night sky will stay mostly cloudy with a low near 53 degrees. The southeast wind will shift from 5 to 7 miles per hour to eventually becoming light and variable after midnight. So, keep that umbrella handy!
Now, as we head into the weekend, Saturday will bring partly sunny skies with a high near 71 degrees. Expect a northwest wind blowing at 7 to 14 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 18 miles per hour - it's going to be a bit breezy out there!
Saturday night, things will clear up with mostly clear skies and a low around 44 degrees. The north wind will be blowing at around 8 to 11 miles per hour.
On Sunday, we're looking at partly sunny conditions with a high near 62 degrees. Sunday night stays mostly cloudy with a low around 44 degrees.
Moving into the start of the new week, Monday will greet us with sunny skies and a high near 67 degrees. Monday night, expect mostly clear conditions with a low around 44 degrees.
As we head into midweek, Tuesday brings more sunshine with a high near 71 degrees. Tuesday night, there's a chance of showers with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 52 degrees. Make sure to keep an eye on the sky!
