Megan and Brian decided to leave the D.C. area, buy a store (something they had never done), sell, rent and repair bikes (something they had never done), and build a business (once again, something they had never done). Sounds like a risky plan, but it wasn’t. Who they are and what they brought to the business was far more important than having a detailed business plan or an encyclopedic knowledge of bicycles.
