Jon is a seasoned sketch and monologue performer best known for 5 years in The Sketchersons, 2 of which he spent as the troupe’s head writer. Jon wrote on four seasons of the CBC’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes and made numerous on camera appearances – for that show Jon won a Canadian Comedy Award and was nominated for two WGC Awards and a Canadian Screen Award. In addition to touring last summer as a cast member in Sex T-Rex’s award-winning show “Swordplay”, Jon has also toured hsi own solo revue “I’m Only One Man,” As a solo sketch comedian Jon has been a repeat performer at JFL 42, Halifax Pop Explosion and NXNE, Jon is the host of the monthly variety show “Jonsday”, and the recipient of the prestigious Bag of Beer Award for best Newcomer at the 2016 Montreal Sketchfest (an award presumably named after his own body)
