Liquor traders in Limpopo have voiced strong rejection of the proposed re-introduction of a curfew on the sale and distribution of alcohol across the province during festive season. Under the Limpopo Liquor Act of 2009 outlets must close at ten o'clock during festive season. The police and government want to implement the clause to minimise crime and road fatalities.
