In our first episode of 2023, the guys discuss a myriad of sports events that happened on the 8th day of the first month throughout history. We've got anecdotes about Mike Schmidt, the Australian Open, the Montreal Canadiens dynasty of the 1970's, March Madness (during which Mike goes into far too much detail about the $%^*ing Palestra) and the Music City Miracle. Then, inspired by the Music City Miracle (sorry, Bills fans) we did a Dork Draft (TM) where each dork selected their favourite 2 NFL comebacks and their favourite CFL comeback. Then, continuing our trend of having special guests who are only risking their pristine public image by appearing on this show, Toronto Argonauts linebacker and 2022 Grey Cup MVP Henoc Muamba joins the show to decide which dork chose the best comebacks. Henoc is an incredibly passionate, articulate and insightful guest who also played in the NFL, so he's uniquely qualified to talk about this draft. Plus, he offers a lot of real "insider" insights on playing the game at that level with everything on the line and has great stories about being teammates with Andrew Luck in Indianapolis. Even if you skip past all of our inane drivel, HE's certainly worth a listen.
